Austin's Colony is one of Bryan's fastest growing communities of single family residences. This Bryan neighborhood is located in the northwest quadrant of Highway 6 and FM 158 intersection. The neighborhood began in the mid 1990's and is still expanding.

Austin's Colony prides itself being the home of Harvey Mitchell Elementary School . The Bryan school is situated near a fabulous park that is maintained by The City of Bryan. Some of the park's amenities include covered tennis courts, basketball courts, playground equipment, soccer and baseball fields, disc golf course, and sand volleyball courts.
